Why the Material Matters
Soft PVC needs plasticizers to become flexible. Since July 2020, four particularly problematic phthalates (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DIBP) must stay below 0.1% of such plasticized materials in the EU, individually or combined. That limit does not cover other plasticizers.
The alternative is materials that aren't made flexible with PVC plasticizers and that last a long time. At Gendoras there are two: wood and platinum-cured silicone.
